Pay: $22-25/HR, based on experience

Shift: M-F, 1:30PM to 10:30PM

Contract to Hire

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-2 years of experience as a Quality Control (QC) Technician, with strong expertise in quality assurance practices.
• Proven leadership skills, with the ability to train, mentor, and guide team members.
• Proficiency in mathematical calculations and computer software systems, essential for quality control tasks and compliance documentation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to ensure clear communication of quality standards and resolutions.
• Familiarity with GMPs, SQF, and GFSI systems is a plus.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee and monitor food safety and quality assurance procedures to ensure compliance with established standards.
• Lead, train, and mentor hourly and temporary QA personnel, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and adherence to best practices.
• Establish and evolve formal quality assurance processes to ensure the team follows industry-recognized standards.
• Develop and implement metrics to track and enhance quality performance, while applying industry best practices.
• Identify, implement, and maintain new tools and processes that contribute to the achievement of quality goals.
• Collaborate with management and other departments to address and resolve quality-related issues.
• Ensure compliance with GMPs, SQF, and company food safety programs, and assist in aligning practices with GFSI systems when applicable.
• Lead by example and instruct team members on quality control processes and procedures, ensuring accurate record-keeping and adherence to safety standards.
