Job description
Medix is hiring a Quality Assurance Manager to join a company that specializes in food technology and ingredient solutions. They are known for their efforts in offering high value nutritional products while maintaining taste and functionality. The Quality Assurance Manager will be responsible for managing and overseeing the Quality Management System (QMS) and the products produced at the facility in Austin, MN.
Schedule/Hours: M-F 9am-5pm
3-5 Must Have Skills/Qualifications
- 5+ years of Quality Management experience in a production processing and/or testing environment
- Must have a background in pharma / agriculture / or food science
- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in a science field (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Food Science)
- Familiar with GFSI (SQF/BRC) and ISO 9001:2015 Standards
- Willing to relocate/live within 45 miles of our plant in Austin, MN (this is not a remote position)
- Willing and able to travel around MN when hired for training at respective contract manufacturers
