Quality Assurance Certified Pharmacy Technician

Job description

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Certified Pharmacy Technician for our specialized pharmacy.

The company operates a closed-door pharmacy, managing the distribution of approximately 35,000 prescriptions daily across multiple states.

Location: Franklin, TN 37067

Hours: M-F 9:30am-6pm or M-Th 9am - 5:30pm & Sunday 8am - 4:30pm

Pay Rate: $19-$21.50

Duties:

Bulk QA
* Fill and perform quality check on medication orders.
* Review product for damage and ensure expiration date is appropriate for dispense.
* Identify products that are not deemed 100% compliant to be given to pharmacist for review.


Prepack QA
* Perform quality check on medication orders.
* Review cards closely to identify double drops, broken tablets, and contamination.
* Follow all applicable government regulations, including HIPAA.
* Complete special projects and other duties as assigned by the Pharmacy Supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT)
  • Pharmacy Technician License in Tennessee
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Dependable
  • Must be able to bend, stoop, lift, walk and stand for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to lift up to 20lbs
