Job description

Job Title: QC Technician (3-6 month contract)

Location: Irvine, CA
Schedule: 1st shift (6:00 AM - 2:30 PM) or 2nd shift (2:45 PM - 11:15 PM), Monday-Friday with occasional overtime

Medix is hiring a QC Technician to support our client on a 3-6 month contract, covering a teammate's leave of absence. This role is perfect for detail-oriented individuals with experience in medical or pharmaceutical manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections on raw materials, components, and final products.
  • Document quality assurance activities for receiving, in-process, and testing.
  • Review donor records for compliance and perform label inspections.
  • Audit manufacturing processes for compliance and product segregation.
  • Manage non-conformance reports (NCRs) through final disposition.
  • Complete special projects as directed.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ year of experience in medical or pharmaceutical manufacturing (cleanroom preferred)
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
  • Quality inspection experience is a plus
