QC Technician I

Job description

The Quality Technicians are responsible for managing and enforcing quality programs & procedures, and company established policies regarding the powder manufacturing process and storage. Quality control technicians review, verify and test products across the three stages of production (incoming, in-process, and final) to ensure quality and food safety levels are met.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance to federal and state laws, as well as GPN standards and specifications.
  • Maintain calibration of quality control equipment.
  • Auditing the assigned area, and communicate quality or compliance concerns with urgency
  • Perform inspections across all stages of productions such as incoming raw materials and packaging, in-process, final inspection, and returns to ensure products meet specifications.
  • Perform sensory evaluations on in-process and finished product.
  • Prepare and/or collect samples for laboratory testing for Raw Material receipts and Finished Product investigations.

Requirements:

  • HS Diploma or GED
  • **Candidates NEED to have a pair of Steel Toed Shoes/Boots for their first day and will be required to wear them while working**
  • 1+ year of Food GMP experience
  • CANNOT be allergic to Milk/Diary/Egg, Wheat, and Soy
  • Ability to work 8 hours at least every other Saturday between now and the end of March 2024 due to an increase in workload (will be working 5-15 hours of OT).
