We are currently hiring for QC Specialist II positions at a biotech company in Ridgewood, NJ.

Position Title: QC Specialist II

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented QC/analytical specialist II to join our Quality Control team in a dynamic biotech environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cell culture and flow cytometry, with hands-on experience in sample preparation and analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform quality control testing on biological products using techniques such as ELISA, flow cytometry, and cell culture.
  • Conduct routine operation of flow cytometry instruments, ensuring proper maintenance and calibration.
  • Execute start-to-finish processes for sample preparation, analysis, and data interpretation, ensuring adherence to established protocols and timelines.
  • Document all experimental procedures and results in accordance with GMP standards, maintaining accurate and comprehensive records.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to assay performance and data integrity.
  • Participate in method development and validation studies as needed.
  • Support investigations related to deviations, out-of-spec results, and quality events, contributing to CAPA initiatives.
  • Stay current with industry trends and advancements in quality control methodologies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Biology, Biochemistry, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in cell culture, flow cytometry, QCR, and ELISA techniques.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
