Quality Assurance Lead

Arkansas and Surrounding States (Travel Based)

Pay: $25-38/HR, based on experience

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven experience in mechanical maintenance, with specific expertise in bearings and electrical motors.
  • Experience with heavy lifting tasks and familiarity with equipment like forklifts.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel extensively, with a focus on servicing clients in the Southeastern US.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime, as required to meet project deadlines.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair on a variety of machinery and equipment, focusing primarily on bearings, electrical motors, sprockets, pulleys, and gear reducers.
  • Conduct heavy lifting tasks, such as positioning heavy components (e.g., landing a 300-pound object on a 6-inch shaft) using appropriate equipment like forklifts.
  • Travel extensively (90%+ of the time) to client sites across the Southeastern US, including Alabama, Arkansas, Mississippi, Georgia, Louisiana, and East Texas.
  • Work on-site at client locations from Thursday to Monday, performing maintenance tasks when plant operations are shut down over the weekend.
  • Collaborate with other technicians or contracted support for tasks requiring specialized skills (e.g., welding, additional heavy lifting).
  • Ensure all work is performed to the highest safety standards, maintaining the integrity of the equipment and minimizing operational disruptions.
  • Manage and organize your company van, ensuring all necessary parts and tools are available for each project.
  • Provide timely and accurate documentation of all work performed, including any parts used, repairs completed, and recommendations for future maintenance.
