Psychiatric Social Worker - FSP (Child)

Job description



Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual therapy and case management to a caseload of approximately 15 youth clients.
  • Travel to homes, schools, and community locations to engage clients in their natural environments.
  • Address behavioral health challenges, trauma, PTSD, and severe mental health conditions with age-appropriate interventions.
  • Support transitional-age youth (18-20 years old), who may present with higher-acuity mental health needs.
  • Participate in a highly collaborative care team, with 2-3 weekly touchpoints per client from Social Workers, Case Managers, and Psychiatrists.
  • Provide crisis intervention as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with confidentiality standards and ethical guidelines.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Clinical Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Valid registration with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) or license eligibility.
  • Comfortable working in high-acuity settings with clients who have experienced trauma, behavioral challenges, or severe mental health conditions.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills; ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Reliable transportation for field-based work (mileage reimbursement provided).


Salary Range: $30-$34/hr



Schedule:

  • Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
