Job description

Actively hiring for a Lab Sample Project Coordinator in Westmont, IL! This is a fully onsite role and requires experience with data entry of samples/products.

1. Project Set Up / Sample Registration

  • Receive, open, unpack, log, and distribute client samples.
  • Initiate project folders and create records in project accounting database.
  • Sample Returns
  • Sample Disposal
  • Filing / Miscellaneous office tasks

Requires

  • attention to detail
  • Standing for long periods of time
  • Wearing PPE (gloves, lab coat)
  • Knowledgeable about computers and Microsoft 365; comfortable learning new software systems
  • Good listener; ability to incorporate feedback
  • Good Communicator

2. Front Desk Coverage

  • Provide relief for reception desk (answer phones, receive deliveries, handle mail)
  • Requires

3. Project Report Responsibilities

  • Once fully trained and operating independently on above, may train on scientific report formatting, final report preparation and dissemination to client, client communications, and other Project support activities.
