Job description

Title: Prior Authorization Representative

Location: Remote

Overview:

If you're looking for a REMOTE opportunity to assist a large healthcare organization based out of Oklahoma City, OK, apply now! This Prior Authorization position is within the Surgery and/or Radiology department.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for multiple facets of patient financial account services within the practice; including but not limited to patient benefit assessment, insurance verification, pre-certification, pre-authorizations, pre-determination for services, and referrals management.
  • Schedules all appointments for patients requiring surgery and revises/cancels appointments as necessary.
  • Acts as an interdepartmental liaison and maintains familiarity with scheduling functions.
  • Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and organization standards.
  • Completing ~25-30 prior authorizations per day.

Qualifications:

  • At least 2+ years of Prior Authorization experience
  • Strong technical and communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task
