Overview:
Mostly imaging, radiology, PT referrals and prior-authorizations
Not going to be thrown into complex services in the beginning/training
Access work queue they are assigned to (EPIC and daily appointment report)
Any follow up on authorizations from previous day
Initiate new auths
Manage inbox of questions (outside referral requests)
Daily expectations - sort work queue (authorizations, referrals, tracking auths)
"Level load" with the rest of the team - if your queues are cleared then work on teammates
KPIs = 15-30 auths/day depending on complexity. Going to be closer to 30 once they are up and running but could be as low as 15 if they are on more complex services (immunotherapy...etc.)
3-5 Must Have Skills/Qualifications:
Referral experience - initiating, creating and tracking referrals 2-3+ years
OneHealth Port, AIM Portal experience 2-3+ years
Strong insurance terminology
Nice to Have Skills:
EPIC experience

Pay: $19/hr-$24.40/hr
