Join our team as a Pre-Certification / Prior Authorization Specialist!

Schedule/Shift:
Monday-Friday; 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
**One week remote/onsite rotation

Work From Home/Hybrid Work:
- Candidates will report onsite every other week

Pay:
$18-23/hour

Day to Day:
- Contacts insurance providers to obtain any applicable authorization types prior to service.
- Obtains and / or coordinates with third-party payers authorizations for services.
- Documents and updates all authorizations obtained in systems.
- Consistently performs and exceeds departmental minimum expected productivity goals.
- Ability to complete registration and coverage verification, as necessary.
- Determines if patient is eligible for intended care at facility.
- If necessary, contacts patient to obtain correct insurance information, or informs patient of self-pay policy.

Metrics:
30 cases per day, they are monitored closely when they are working from home as they need to be hitting these numbers consistently.

• Outpatient Prior Authorizations/Pre-Cert/Referrals Experience
• Strong Patient Access Experience from the authorizations, registration, etc. background
• Longevity in previous roles, not a job hopper
• Epic expereince
