Practice Manager - Rheumatology
Location: Englewood, Colorado
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8-hour shifts

We're seeking a Practice Manager to oversee the daily operations of a multi-location Rheumatology practice and ensure seamless financial, regulatory, and operational management.

What You'll Do

  • Operational Leadership - Oversee daily operations, staff onboarding, and facility management across four locations.
  • Financial Oversight - Collaborate with the AP team to ensure timely invoice processing and financial reporting.
  • Regulatory Compliance - Ensure adherence to HIPAA, OSHA, credentialing requirements, and manage MIPS reporting.
  • Technology & Systems Management - Assist in evaluating new EHR options and coordinate IT system upgrades.
  • Reporting & Benefits Administration - Prepare financial reports, track employee benefits, and handle tax payments.
  • Provider Support - Work closely with rheumatologists and healthcare providers to ensure operational efficiency and support patient care.

Who You Are

  • Healthcare Experience - 2+ years (3-5 preferred) in a private practice setting, ideally in a mid-to-large medical practice.
  • Strong Business Acumen - Comfortable engaging with COO and physicians to drive business growth and operational improvements.
  • Excellent Communication Skills - Clear, professional, and adaptable in written and verbal interactions with staff, patients, and leadership.
  • Tech-Savvy - Proficient in Word, Excel, EHR systems, QuickBooks Online.
  • Conflict Resolution Skills - Patient-facing experience with the ability to handle concerns professionally and empathetically.

Nice to Have

  • Background as an MA, Nurse, or other healthcare professional who transitioned into management.
  • Deep understanding of OSHA, HIPAA, safety, and credentialing compliance.
  • HR knowledge with the ability to recognize when professional HR intervention is needed.
