Physician's Assistant

Location: Chicago, IL 60633
Position Type: Full-Time, Monday-Friday 3pm-12am
Salary: $60-65 hourly including benefits

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat patients autonomously under the direction of the Medical Director.
  • Perform pre-employment testing, return-to-work planning and care, and medical surveillance.
  • Conduct EKGs, pulmonary function tests, and fit testing as required.
  • Review patients' health history forms and conduct thorough medical evaluations.
  • Review and interpret lab results, chest x-rays, EKG results, and other diagnostic tests; provide follow-up care as needed.
  • Manage the opening and closing of medical leaves of absence in coordination with HR.
  • Supervise onsite Registered Nurses (RNs) and collaborate with them on patient care.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
  • Current PA license in the state of Illinois, with national certification.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently with minimal supervision.
