Position Type: Full-Time, Monday-Friday

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and treat patients autonomously under the direction of the Medical Director.
• Perform pre-employment testing, return-to-work planning and care, and medical surveillance.
• Conduct EKGs, pulmonary function tests, and fit testing as required.
• Review patients' health history forms and conduct thorough medical evaluations.
• Review and interpret lab results, chest x-rays, EKG results, and other diagnostic tests; provide follow-up care as needed.
• Manage the opening and closing of medical leaves of absence in coordination with HR.
• Prescribe medications and treatments as appropriate, adhering to established protocols.
• Provide ongoing health education and wellness initiatives for employees.
• Supervise onsite Registered Nurses (RNs) and collaborate with them on patient care.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Current PA license in the state of Illinois, with national certification.
• Experience in occupational health, emergency medicine, or a related field preferred.
• Proficiency in conducting medical assessments and interpreting diagnostic tests.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently with minimal supervision.
