We are hiring a Hybrid Medical Biller for one of our top clients out of Blue Springs, MO. You will work onsite 50% of the time and remotely 50% of the time, so you MUST be local to the Kansas City/Blue Springs area!

Role Overview:

• Use billing software to perform data entry and prepare hospital/physician bills for submission to third party payers
• Timely submission of primary/secondary hospital, physician, and clinic claims
• Work A/R reports to follow up on un/under- paid claims on Medicare, Medicaid, Commercial, Auto Liability, and Work Comp claims according to contractual requirements and provider policy
• Ensure timely submission of unprocessed, rejected or returned claims.
• Submit paper claims as may be required
• Practice proactive denials management through effective communication between the Payers, MRS, and clients.
• Prepare and submit 1st and 2nd level appeals as necessary

Location: Blue Springs, MO 64015

Schedule: M-F Day Shift

Pay: $23-27/hr

Requirements:

• 3-5 years billing experience in a physician/clinical billing role
• eClinical Works and/or CPSI most important
• Cerner/Epic experience is also a plus
• Worked full billing process, NOT just AR
