Physician Assistant (PA) - Family Medicine / Internal Medicine / Primary Care
- Location: Trenton, NJ
- Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Salary: $95,000 - $121,000

About the Role
- Under the supervision of the Chief Medical Officer, the Physician Assistant will independently manage patient care within their scope of practice.
- This role includes comprehensive assessments and treatment of acute and chronic health conditions.

Key Responsibilities
Clinical Care
- Perform medical assessments and develop treatment plans for acute and chronic conditions.
- Order and evaluate diagnostic studies; prescribe medications in accordance with New Jersey Board of Medical Examiners guidelines.
- Educate patients on lifestyle changes, medication adherence, and treatment compliance.
- Identify when specialist or emergency care is required.
Documentation & Compliance
- Ensure accurate and complete medical charting and documentation for organizational and billing compliance.
Collaboration & Education
- Serve as a resource to staff; participate in training, education, and community health initiatives.
- Mentor physician assistant students and participate in departmental call schedules.
Administrative Duties
- Utilize electronic and manual systems for patient records and reporting.
- Foster positive patient and community relationships through professional communication and teamwork.
Qualifications
Education
- Master's Degree in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program.
Licensure & Certifications
- Current and valid New Jersey Physician Assistant license.
- NCCPA Certification.
- Current CDS and DEA licenses.
Preferred Skills
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) proficiency.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a dynamic environment.
- Familiarity with healthcare software applications.
