Job Title: Physician's Assistant
Schedule: 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM
Pay: $60 - $65 per hour

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Physician's Assistant to join our team in a long-term, indefinite contract at our client. Reporting to the Medical Director and working closely with HR and Safety teams, you will be responsible for a wide range of clinical duties to ensure the health and safety of employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Autonomously assess, diagnose, and treat patients.
  • Perform pre-employment testing, return-to-work planning, and ongoing medical surveillance.
  • Conduct EKG, pulmonary, and fit testing.
  • Review and interpret patients' health history forms, lab results, chest x-rays, x-rays, and EKG results.
  • Follow up with patients regarding their test results.
  • Open and close medical leaves of absence as needed.
  • Prescribe medications as necessary.
  • Provide ongoing health education to employees.
  • Supervise onsite RNs.

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Comfortable with suturing.

Preferred Experience:

  • Occupational Health, Urgent Care, or ER experience is preferred.
  • We are looking for candidates who meet the majority of the listed skills and responsibilities and who are punctual, loyal, and reliable. Training will be provided for the right individual.
