Job description

Medix is HIRING for a Contract PSR/Phone Scheduler role in the Chandler area. This position is expected to be a 4-6 month contract for now and is a great opportunity to get your foot in the foot in the door with a Women's Health specialty clinic. Position: Patient Service Representative (PSR) - Scheduler

Location: Chandler, Arizona (85224)

Pay: $18.50/hour

Schedule: M-F 8AM-5PM

Overview of Responsibilities (NOT limited to the following):

  • Handle inbound calls/text messages from patients
  • Triage incoming calls
  • Schedule appointments
  • Direct urgent matters to RN
  • Provide directions to clinic
  • Verify and update patient demographics into EMR system
  • Take down insurance information
  • Volume is 50-60 per person

3-5 Must Have Skills/Qualifications:
Experience with Customer Service in a Medical Setting
High School Diploma
Ability to Multi-Task
Comfortable Working on the Phones

Soft Skill/Attribute Requirements:
Ability to work independently
Needs to be personable
