Phlebotomist - In-Office Phlebotomy (IOP) - Salisbury, NC

Medix is hiring a skilled and compassionate Phlebotomist to join a busy multi-specialty medical practice in Salisbury, NC. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with long-term potential, competitive pay, and a Monday-Friday schedule. Job Responsibilities:

• Perform 30-45 blood draws per day in a multi-specialty practice setting
• Work directly with geriatric patients and diverse providers across various specialties
• Accurately collect, label, and process specimens following established protocols
• Ensure proper patient identification and maintain meticulous documentation
• Utilize proper PPE and safety precautions to uphold health and safety standards
• Maintain a clean and well-stocked phlebotomy station
• Provide excellent patient care and customer service to ensure a positive experience

Requirements:

• 1+ year of phlebotomy experience (consistent experience preferred)
• Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in certain states)
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Strong interpersonal skills and a patient-first mindset
• Reliable transportation to commute to the Salisbury, NC location

Schedule & Compensation:

• Monday - Friday, standard daytime hours (no weekends!)
• Pay: $18+/hr (based on experience & approvals)
• Contract-to-hire opportunity with potential for permanent placement
