Job description

Position: Phlebotomist I
Location: Johns Creek, GA
Salary: $18 - $22 per hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM (1-hour lunch break)

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and professional Phlebotomist to join our team at a Modern OBGYN clinic in Johns Creek, GA. If you have a solid background in phlebotomy and are looking for an opportunity in a specialized medical environment, this role is ideal for you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist patients courteously.
  • Accurately collect and process blood, urine, and fecal specimens.
  • Explain the specimen collection process to patients in a clear and reassuring manner.
  • Dispose of biohazard materials and contaminated sharps following safety regulations.
  • Complete requisitions and enter data into the computer system.
  • Maintain organized records and documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of phlebotomy experience.
  • Professional demeanor in both appearance and communication.
  • OBGYN experience is highly preferred.
