Job description

Great opportunity to join an Infusion Pharmacy (#5 on Fortune 500) and our countries largest healthcare organization.

Position: Compounding Pharmacy Technician

Schedule: M-F 9-5:30

Pay: $20-22

Location: Jacksonville, FL 32257

Position Summary: Compounding IV medications, staging meds, assist with inventory monthly, putting up supplies, waste management.


Responsibilities

  • Enter inventory items accurately and completely with lot number correctness
  • Assist with compounding and USP797 practices
  • Resolve customer issues while providing accurate information
  • Identify problems and determine solutions independently or in a team/group setting
  • Work within multiple computer systems simultaneously
  • Respond to questions and provide medication details/clinical information
  • Work in a fast-paced, high volume environment where accuracy is essential

Requirements

  • High School Diploma / GED (or higher)
  • Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician licensing and registration as required by state
  • 1+ years of pharmacy related experience (includes retail pharmacy experience)
  • Intermediate level of proficiency with computer and Windows PC applications
  • Ability to navigate and learn new and complex computer system applications
