Pharmacy Technician - Inpatient Hospital
Job description
Medix is currently hiring a Hospital Pharmacy Technician - Pharm Tech for a contract to hire position at a hospital located in Philadelphia, PA. Shift offerings include full time Days and part time! Pays $20-24/hr depending on experience AND benefits!
Pharmacy Technician - Pharm Tech Responsibilities:
- Prepare patient-specific and non-patient specific doses ensuring medications are identified, retrieved, drawn-up, labeled, packaged and stored according to standard operating procedures
- Prepare and distribute medications within cycle time to ensure turnaround time standards are met
- Sterile IV Medication preparation. Both sterile and nonsterile compounding.
Pharmacy Technician - Pharm Tech Requirements:
- 13 week contract to hire
- Inpatient hospital experience required
- Previous Epic and Pyxis experience preferred
- CPhT preferred
- COVID vaccination required
