Pharmacy Technician

Key Responsibilities:

• Inventory Management: Ensure the quality and accuracy of inventory by following control procedures, conducting audits, managing inventory databases, and processing recalls or returns.
• Prescription Data Entry: Input prescription information into pharmacy software, accurately translating data into system codes and maintaining comprehensive patient records.
• Professional Standards: Assist with prescription fulfillment, handle insurance claims, manage prescription returns, and ensure the fulfillment process aligns with pharmacy standards.
• Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on Medicare and Medicaid policies, process orders accurately, manage audit documentation, and adhere to all applicable regulations.
• Prescription Fulfillment: Select, verify, and prepare pharmaceutical products for patient orders.
• Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to prescription fulfillment, manage third-party insurance claims, coordinate with IT support, and communicate with patients about inventory, authorizations, and other concerns.

Qualifications:

• Florida State Pharmacy License
• Call center experience
