Job description

Job Description: Pharmacy Technician

Responsibilities:

  • Receive, enter, and process prescriptions in accordance with Blink Health protocols.
  • Review all relevant medical documentation submitted by healthcare providers.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the Blink Health product to provide effective pharmacy assistance.
  • Resolve open orders through effective communication with Pharmacists and the Blink Health Customer Experience team.
  • Execute all tasks safely and in compliance with corporate policies, as well as State and Federal regulations.
  • Collaborate effectively with the management team and pharmacists.
  • Perform other duties as assigned within the Pharmacy Technician role.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician or in a related field.
  • PTCB or NHA certification required, or a commitment to obtain certification prior to joining.
  • Excellent phone communication skills in a support/service capacity.
  • Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
  • Proficient technical skills with the ability to learn complex software applications.
  • Solid mathematical skills.

Work Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM - 9:30 PM
  • Saturday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Note: Candidates must be flexible to work an 8-hour shift within this timeframe. One Saturday shift per month is expected, and a mid-week day off will be provided when scheduled for Saturday. Work schedules will be communicated approximately two weeks in advance.
