Job Description
We are seeking a Pharmacy Technician / Pharmacy Authorization Coordinator to join our team in Orlando, FL.
Our specialty pharmacy is dedicated to providing personalized, affordable care, especially for managing chronic illnesses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inventory Management: Ensure quality and accuracy of inventory by following control procedures, conducting audits, managing databases, and processing recalls or returns.
  • Prescription Data Entry: Input prescription information into pharmacy software, including translating data into system codes and managing patient records.
  • Professional Standards: Assist in prescription fulfillment, handle claims and returns
  • Regulatory Compliance: Adhere to Medicare and Medicaid policies, process orders accurately, stay updated on regulations, and manage audit documentation.
  • Prescription Fulfillment: Select and verify pharmaceutical products
  • Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve prescription fulfillment issues, manage third-party insurance claims, coordinate with IT support, and communicate with patients about inventory and authorizations.

Qualifications:

  • Meet state requirements to work as a Pharmacy Technician, including age, qualification, registration, certification, and/or licensure as required by the Florida State Board of Pharmacy.
  • Willing to work in a call center environment
