Job description

We are currently hiring for a full-time, onsite Pharmacy Technician in Eau Claire, WI. The position offers three shift options: Opening (8:30 AM - 5:00 PM), Mid (9:00 AM - 5:30 PM), and Closing (9:30 AM to close, typically 6:00 PM but may extend to 7:00 or 7:30 PM to ensure medications are prepared and delivered on time).

The Pharmacy Technician is responsible for packaging medication orders according to prescription label directions, ensuring accuracy and neatness. The role also includes inventory control tasks such as handling credits and restocking inventory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Count, seal, and label prescription cards.
  • Pull drugs and match NDC numbers to prescription labels.
  • Return inventory to proper locations.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and the facility.
  • Accurately fill individual medication orders.
  • Meet reasonable production expectations as set by the supervisor.
  • Ensure quality assurance standards are met.
  • Monitor and maintain adequate stocking levels.
  • Utilize and maintain knowledge of RX computer systems.
  • Complete all mandatory and regulatory training programs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • General knowledge of medications and physician orders.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment and/or random drug screening tests.
