Job Location Details:

Schedule/ Shift: Monday-Saturday, 8am-7:30pm MST (40 hours)

• Will work 3 morning shifts per week (8am-4:30pm or 9am-5:30pm)
• Will work 1 mid-shift and 1 closing shift per week (10am-6:30pm [mid] and 11am-7:30pm [close])
• Will work 1 Saturday shift per month
• **Will get your schedule 2-4 weeks in advance**

Pay Range: $19-20/hour (dependant on experience)

Responsibilities/ Job Duties (not limited to the following):

• Process pharmacy claims accurately and timely to meet client expectations.
• Triage rejected claims and verify patient pharmacy benefits.
• Assist with initiating and submitting prior authorization requests, including selecting the correct forms.
• Coordinate with providers to complete and follow up on prior authorizations.
• Handle appeals and respond to internal inquiries about prior authorization status.
• Ensure compliance with patient assistance programs and maintain confidentiality.
• Document and research necessary information according to procedures.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• One year of Healthcare (Pharmacy preferred) experience, having resolved third party claims
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• A passion for providing top-notch patient care
• Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn complex new software
