Job description

Position: Pharmacy Technician
Location: Eau Claire, WI 54701
Employment Type: Full Time

Scope of Responsibilities:
The Pharmacy Technician works under direct supervision to accurately fill medication orders.

Job Summary:
This role involves packaging medication orders as per prescription label directions, ensuring accuracy, neatness, and compliance. The Pharmacy Technician also supports inventory control by handling credits and restocking inventory.

Job Duties:

  • Count, seal, and label prescription cards.
  • Pull medications and match NDCs (National Drug Codes) to prescription labels.
  • Return inventory to its proper location.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and the facility.
  • Ensure proper and accurate filling of individual medication orders.
  • Meet production standards as determined by the supervisor.
  • Adhere to all quality assurance protocols.
  • Assist in maintaining adequate stocking levels.
  • Use and maintain knowledge of RX computer systems.
  • Complete mandatory and regulatory training programs.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Job Skill Requirements:

  • Wisconsin pharmacy license
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational abilities.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • General knowledge of medications and physician orders.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment and/or random drug screening test.

Job Type: Full time

Compensation: $ 17-18.50 depending on experience

Hours: 40 hours/week - Mon- Fri 8 hrs between 8:30am-7:30pm; every 3rd Saturday 8:30am-3pm

Location: Eau Claire, WI

Benefits: In order to be eligible for health benefits, you must be employed for 30 days and must average 30 hours per week over your first four weeks on assignment. If you become eligible and take action to enroll, you will be covered no earlier than 60 days into your assignment, depending on plan selection(s).
