Position: Pharmacy Service Representative

Location: Carrollton, TX

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated Pharmacy Service Representative to join our pharmacy team. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring timely and accurate pharmacy shipments while providing exceptional customer service to pharmacy patients. You will work closely with our systems, pharmacy team, and delivery services to support customer needs, process orders, and maintain confidentiality of patient information.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pharmacy Shipments:
  • Verify patient information and prescriptions for delivery.
  • Input and verify method of payment.
  • Process patient information using company systems, ensuring accurate delivery details (carrier and method).
  • Log customer calls, including patient name, date of birth, address, and payment information.
  • Document shipment information and notate order details as required.
  • Customer Service:
  • Respond to customer calls and emails related to pharmacy services.
  • Use company systems and guidelines to resolve customer and associate inquiries.
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient health information in compliance with HIPAA standards.
  • Process customer requests for prescription refills, transfers, payments, and new prescription pricing.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies in customer orders.
  • Research and resolve billing issues for customers.
  • Compliance:
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity.
  • Apply the Open Door Policy to ensure proper communication and resolve any concerns.
  • Team Collaboration and Execution:
  • Complete work assignments using data, resources, and policy guidelines.
  • Collaborate with managers, co-workers, customers, and business partners to meet deadlines and expectations.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for improvement in business processes.
  • Adapt to changes, provide feedback, and actively seek ways to enhance performance.

Qualifications:

  • Strong customer service skills, including the ability to handle inquiries with patience and professionalism.
  • Call center experience
  • Experience in a pharmacy or healthcare setting is a plus.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • High attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Job Type: Full time

Compensation: $17

Hours: Full time - Mon-Fri 8 hours daily

Location: Carrollton, TX

Start Date: ASAP

Benefits: In order to be eligible for health benefits, you must be employed for 30 days and must average 30 hours per week over your first four weeks on assignment. If you become eligible and take action to enroll, you will be covered no earlier than 60 days into your assignment, depending on plan selection(s).
