Job description

Title: Pharmacy Fill Technician
Location: Aurora, CO
Pay Rate:

  • Certified Pharmacy Technicians: $20-$22/hr
  • Non-Certified Pharmacy Technicians: $18-$20/hr (must commit to certification within 3 months of hire)

Shift Options:

  • 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM (up to every other weekend; flexibility for fewer weekends)
  • 3rd Shift: 8:00 PM - 6:30 AM (no weekends, but must train for two weeks on a 9:00 AM start time schedule)

Position Summary:
We are seeking motivated and hardworking Pharmacy Fill Technicians to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidates will possess strong attention to detail, a customer-focused mindset, and a commitment to achieving excellence. Certified Pharmacy Technicians are preferred, though we welcome non-certified candidates willing to achieve certification within three months of hire.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fulfill medication orders, including packaging, dispensing, labeling, and shipping.
  • Work under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist to prepare medications for final review.
  • Coordinate and stage items for timely delivery to customers.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environment.
  • Ensure proper storage and security of pharmaceutical products.
  • Assist in mixing pharmaceutical preparations as directed.
  • Support special projects and contribute to departmental goals.
  • Maintain professional technical competencies and adhere to all company policies and ethical standards.

Required Traits and Skills:

  • Hardworking, self-motivated, and reliable.
  • Positive attitude with a focus on patient and customer needs.
  • Technologically competent, with experience in inventory software preferred.
  • Flexibility to meet shift requirements and willingness to learn on the job.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PTCB or NHA-certified Pharmacy Technician.
  • Candidates with non-pharmacy experience (e.g., Amazon, GoPuff, or Target) who demonstrate strong technology skills and a polished resume.
  • Commitment to obtaining pharmacy certification within three months (if non-certified).
