Job Title: AR Follow-Up Specialist

Job Type: Full-Time, Temporary (Remote)

Duration: Through June 2025

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM PST

Job Overview:
We are seeking AR Follow-Up Specialists to assist with backlog and ongoing projects through June. The primary focus will be resolving outstanding accounts, prioritizing no response claims, and addressing some denied claims. The ideal candidates will have experience in Epic Resolute Work Queue and PB Follow-Up in a large health system.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage PPO (Anthem & BCBS) claims and Medicare HMO claims.
• Process 60 unique touches daily with 95% accuracy.
• Work through Epic Resolute Work Queue to follow up on no response claims and denied claims (some underpayment work may be required).
• Investigate underpayments, process denials/appeals, and ensure claims are handled per payer agreements.
• Communicate with payers to resolve outstanding claims and payment variances.
• Monitor denial trends, document findings, and recommend process improvements.
• Stay updated on federal/state regulations and payer policies to ensure compliance.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams to resolve billing and reimbursement issues.

Training & Support:

• One week of structured training.
• Workflows and processes are in place to guide daily responsibilities.

Must-Have Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of PB Follow-Up experience in a large health system.
• Epic Resolute Work Queue experience.
