Job description

A world-class healthcare organization is seeking experienced Insurance Follow Up representatives to join their team for a 6 month Accounts Receivables clean up project.

This is a fully remote opportunity with equipment provided.

Overview:

  • Working denials on "no response" claims, investigating denied or underpaid claims, gathering supporting documentation, generating appeal letters, and submitting corrected claims
  • Payers will include commercial and government insurances (mostly PPO's and Medicare HMO)
  • Review payer issues, trends, and system errors impacting work flows

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of Physician Billing (CMS1500) Insurance Follow Up / Medical Collections for a large Medical Group/Health System
  • EPIC Resolute Work Queue experience

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm PST

Pay: $23-26 per hour depending on experience

Contract Duration: 1060 hours (approx. 6 months) Contract opportunity.

Sick Pay: You will receive one day of Sick Time after working 600 hours and an additional day of Sick Time for every 300 hours after. **Please note that if you're in a city/state with unique PTO requirements, the city/state's policy will override Medix's internal PTO policy.
