A large healthcare corporation is seeking an experienced Payment Poster to join their team in Las Vegas, NV.

Overview of Responsibilities:

• Posts and balances daily payments, adjustments, and EFT transactions.
• Reconciles cash, resolves unapplied cash, and ensures accurate bank reconciliation.
• Processes refunds, enters transactions, and submits necessary reports to accounts payable.
• Allocates deposits weekly, maintaining credit balances under one day.
• Submits underpayments and overpayments for follow-up.
• Transfers patient balances accurately and ensures timely resolution of errors.
• Monitors payment plans and follows processing guidelines.

Requirements:

• Payment Posting / Cash Applications experience in a Healthcare setting

Schedule: Monday-Friday, Business Hours - Can start as early as 6:30am pst

Pay: $15-22 per hour depending on experience

Length: 800 Hours (approx. 5 Months) Contract to Hire*

*Opportunity to convert to Full Time Employment with client company upon successful completion of contract period

Sick Pay: You will receive one day of Sick Time after working 600 hours and an additional day of Sick Time for every 300 hours after. **Please note that if you're in a city/state with unique PTO requirements, the city/state's policy will override Medix's internal PTO policy.
