Job description

A Family Medicine Clinic in Olympia is looking for a Patient Services Representative to join their team.

The Patient Services Representative (PSR) will serve as the first point of contact for patients, handling front desk responsibilities. The PSR team typically manages 150+ patients daily, with primary duties including scheduling appointments and answering inquiries.

Overview of Responsibilities:

  • Greet patients warmly, check them in, and schedule appointments while ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience.
  • Answer incoming calls, assist with inquiries, and direct calls to the appropriate staff as needed
  • Confirm patient insurance eligibility and benefits before appointments to ensure accurate billing
  • Collect co-pays and outstanding balances, process payments, and provide receipts.
  • Assist with patient records, maintain a tidy front desk area, and support the clinical team with administrative tasks

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma
  • 1-2 Years of Experience with an administrative focus
  • Tech Savy

Additional Skills:

  • Experience within Family Medicine
  • Epic Experience

Schedule/Shift:

  • Mon-Fri 5x8 hour shifts (Variable start times, but shifts will fall between 7a-7p)

Contract Length:

700 Hours. Opportunity to convert after satisfactory completion of contract

Pay:

$18 - $25/Hour (Dependant on experience)
