Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Patient Service Representative

Location: Coatesville, PA
Schedule/Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

We are seeking a dedicated Patient Service Representative to join our team in Coatesville, PA. The ideal candidate will be a customer-focused professional with strong administrative and communication skills. As a Patient Service Representative, you will be the first point of contact for patients, ensuring smooth check-in and check-out processes, assisting with paperwork, managing calls, and working with our internal EMR system. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a dynamic healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet patients in a warm and welcoming manner upon arrival.
  • Obtain patient information, including demographic and insurance details, as applicable.
  • Direct incoming calls and patient inquiries to the appropriate staff or department.
  • Check in and check out patients for their appointments, ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately.
  • Operate various computer platforms, including Microsoft and the internal EMR system, to maintain patient records.
  • Schedule follow-up appointments and ensure patients are informed of their next steps.
  • Maintain a clean and organized waiting area for a pleasant patient experience.
  • Ensure all interactions comply with HIPAA regulations to maintain confidentiality.

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • Covid-19 Vaccination required.
  • Experience working with EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems.
  • Availability to work Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
