Overview: Working at the front desk in a growing dermatology practice in either Portsmouth or Exeter, NH!

Responsibilities:

• The Patient Service Representative is responsible for the patient check-in process, updating computer patient personal information and insurance information, handling a multi-line phone system, medical records filing and maintenance, and collection of co-pays and cash payments.
• Performs opening and closing clinic duties.
• Greets patients, checks in for appointments and verifies insurance.
• Scans documents into electronic health record.
• Maintains tidiness of waiting area and reception counter throughout the day.
• Checks schedules for added, canceled and no-show appointments throughout the day.
• Schedules follow up appointments as needed.
• Responds to designated tasks in the electronic health record.
• Orders clinic office supplies.
• Sells and tracks cosmetic products.
• Distributes mail.
• Prepares for next day scheduled appointments.

Must Have Skills/Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/Equivalent
• Prior Healthcare and/or Medical Receptionist Experience

Schedule/Shift:

• M-F 8am - 5pm

Pay Rate:

$19 - 21/hour
