Job description

We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Patient Service Representative II to join a dynamic team. This front-facing role involves patient check-in/check-out, scheduling, and general administrative support. The ideal candidate will bring exceptional customer service skills and a bubbly personality, with a willingness to learn the medical side of the role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Patient Check-In: Ensure demographics, insurance, and HIPAA forms are updated and accurate.
  • Patient Check-Out: Assist with rescheduling for follow-up tests or injections, adhering to correct protocols.
  • Scheduling Support: Manage radiology workcues by contacting patients to schedule sinus testing.
  • Call Management: Redirect approximately 20 incoming calls daily.
  • Fax Handling: Review and organize incoming faxes via SFax, ensuring proper documentation and filing.
  • Volume: Serve approximately 80-130 patients a day

Qualifications:

  • Entry-level role requiring customer service experience; medical knowledge is not required but must be open to learning.
  • Outgoing, engaging personality with a focus on patient care and teamwork.
  • Proficiency or willingness to learn Epic EMR.

Location: St. Louis, MO 63110

Schedule: M-F 7:30-5:30 (8 Hour Shift)

  • Opener: 7:30-4:00 PM
  • Mid: 7:45-3:15 PM
  • Close: 8:00-5:30 PM

Pay: $17-22.00/hr

Dress Code: Black Scrubs
