Patient Service Representative

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (8-hour shifts)
Pay Range: $20 - $23/hour
Attire: Business casual (Jeans allowed on Fridays; no hoodies or graphic clothing)

What You'll Do:

• Call Center Duties

  • Answer phones and schedule appointments.
  • Perform light triage, routing inquiries to appropriate teams.
  • Update and maintain accurate medical records.

• Check-In/Check-Out Responsibilities

  • Assist patients during their clinic visits, ensuring a seamless experience.
  • Work collaboratively to manage a high-volume clinic environment.

• Workload Details

  • Shared call center volume: ~100 calls/week (30/day split between two team members).
  • Support a high-volume practice with 17 providers (e.g., Dr. Johnson sees 80+ patients/day).
  • Clinic flow:
    • Slow days (MWF): ~90 patients/day.
    • Busy days (T/TH): ~180 patients/day.

What We're Looking For:

• Experience working in a medical practice environment.
• Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.
• Strong knowledge of insurance processes and policies.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinic with high patient volume.

• Experience with EPIC EMR.

• Outstanding multi-tasking abilities with keen attention to detail.
• A positive attitude and compassionate demeanor toward patients, even under pressure.
• Resilience in handling intense interactions with providers-remaining calm and professional.
• Initiative to go above and beyond, ensuring each patient feels cared for.
