Patient Service Rep / Medical Assistant
Job description
We are looking to hire full-time Patient Service Reps / Medical Assistants for an outpatient doctors office!!
Hours: Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm (with a 1 hour lunch)
Locations: Florham Park, Short Hills, Livingston, and Morristown (5 days in person)
Pay: 20+ an hour (dependent on experience)
Job Description:
- Preform patient intake
- Answer phones
- Check patients in and out
- Verify insurances
- Collect copays
- Schedule appointments
- Update patient demographics in the EMR system
- Room patients
- Take vital signs
- Assist with minor procedures
- All other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- High School Diploma / GED or equivalent
- Medical Assistant Diploma or National Certification
- Customer service / front desk experience
- Medical Assistant experience
