Join Our Team as a Patient Benefit Coordinator

Salary Range: $21 - $25 Hourly
Work Location: Lone Tree, CO. (Fully on-site)
Department: Revenue Cycle Management
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm

About the Role: Are you passionate about ensuring a seamless financial journey for patients? As a Patient Benefit Coordinator (PBC) Supervisor, you will play a vital role in coordinating the financial aspects of patient care while fostering a positive and memorable experience. You will educate patients on financial services, assist with insurance processes, and ensure all financial matters are handled with the utmost care and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify insurance information and ensure it is accurately entered in the practice management system.
  • Track and update any insurance changes throughout the patient's care.
  • Connect with patients ahead of their treatment cycles for payment collection.
  • Address insurance coverage discrepancies and advocate for patients facing difficulties.
  • Work closely with the care team to ensure a smooth financial journey for every patient.
  • Identify patients eligible for ART care and secure payments prior to treatment.
  • Assist with performing IVF audits and post necessary actions based on outcomes.
  • Serve as a resource for physicians, nurses, and patient care coordinators regarding insurance coverage limitations.
  • Ensure patients are financially cleared and counseled on upcoming treatment costs.
  • Assist the Senior Director, Patient Access, with assigned projects and other duties as needed.

What You Bring:

  • Required:
    • High School Diploma or GED
    • Insurance experience
    • Excellent verbal communication skills
    • Strong customer service skills
  • Preferred:
    • Associate's degree or higher
    • Experience in healthcare
    • Knowledge of medical terminology
    • Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems

  • Ability to work weekends, evenings, or holidays on a rotating basis
