Job description

We are hiring a Patient Care Representative!

Join our team as a Patient Care Representative, where you'll be pivotal in delivering exceptional patient service. This role involves greeting patients, managing appointments, verifying insurance, and maintaining office cleanliness. You will travel between three designated offices and will be compensated for mileage.

Locations: Warrendale, Weirton, Steubenville

Schedule: 8-hour shifts, starting between 7:00 AM - 7:30 AM, Monday - Friday

Pay: $17/hr (up to $18/hr for candidates with medical front desk experience)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet patients and manage check-ins/outs.
  • Answer phones, schedule and reschedule appointments.
  • Gather patient demographic and insurance information.
  • Verify insurance and collect payments (co-pays).
  • Maintain office cleanliness and manage front desk operations.
  • Process and balance daily collections, prepare bank deposits.
  • Handle administrative tasks (filing, scanning, etc.).
  • Act as a liaison between patients and physicians when needed.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in a customer service role.
  • Basic medical front desk experience (preferred but not required).
  • Ability to travel between designated offices.
  • Familiarity with insurance verification and EMR systems (preferred for higher pay rate).
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
