Job description

Job Title: Patient Care Coordinator - Specialty Pharmacy Call Center

Job Description:
We are seeking dedicated Patient Care Coordinators to join our specialty pharmacy call center team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up pharmacy shipments by verifying patient information, processing prescription deliveries, and using internal systems to coordinate patient information and delivery methods. You will provide exceptional customer service by responding to patient inquiries, processing prescription requests and payments, and ensuring that patient health information is maintained with the utmost confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate pharmacy shipments by verifying patient demographics and processing delivery methods.
  • Handle customer inquiries through calls and emails, resolving prescription and billing issues using company systems.
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient health information and ensure accuracy of documentation.
  • Facilitate patient onboarding by connecting them to pharmacists for prescription reviews and financial counseling as needed.
  • Support the pharmacy team by managing incoming requests for new prescriptions, refills, and transfers.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Required:
    • Call center experience.
    • Strong customer service skills with a focus on communication and problem-solving.
  • Preferred:
    • Healthcare customer service experience.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Compassionate, dependable, and adaptable to changing work environments.

Schedule:
Training: 3 weeks, Monday - Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM.
Regular Shift: Candidates must be available Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 9 PM for an 8-hour shift.
