Job description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contact patients to facilitate the completion of Medicaid applications and charity care processes.

  • Verify and update patient health insurance information, ensuring accuracy and relevance.

  • Collaborate with patients, their family members, employers, banks, and relevant government offices to gather necessary information.

  • Accurately document all information obtained into various systems, maintaining data integrity and confidentiality.

  • Perform administrative tasks such as faxing, filing, emailing, and making phone calls to support the completion of applications.

  • Provide coverage at hospital facilities on an as-needed basis, ensuring continuity in patient benefit coordination.

  • Be flexible and willing to take on other duties as assigned, adapting to the evolving needs of the department and healthcare organization.


  • Previous Hosptial Follow Up Expereince Required
  • Medical Billing Expereince preferred
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to meet monthly productivity goals
  • Minimum requirement of a high school diploma or GED
