Job description

Job Overview:
We are seeking a Patient Account Representative to handle incoming patient calls and make outbound calls to collect outstanding balances. This role requires excellent customer service, clear communication, and attention to detail. You will assist patients with billing inquiries, provide payment options, and document interactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle incoming calls regarding billing, balances, and insurance.
  • Make outbound calls to collect patient liabilities.
  • Use scripts to explain amounts owed and offer payment solutions.
  • Document call outcomes and follow up as needed.
  • Address patient concerns with professionalism and empathy.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree preferred.
  • Previous customer service or billing experience preferred.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage high call volumes and maintain professionalism.

Pay is $18.50/hr and this is a contract to hire position - fully onsite!
