Overview of responsibilities (day-to-day, metrics, etc): Handle and resolve outbound calls (60+ calls) and assist once complete with inbound calls, provide payment options and hit the initial collection goal of $2500 per day.
Job Description:
* The goal of the Customer Service Collection Representative is to handle and resolve
incoming patient calls while providing excellent customer service.
* To perform outbound calls to patients to collect patient liability
* Use a script or guidelines to ensure consistency in your communication. Clearly explain
the purpose of the call and the amount owed by the patient.
* Provide payment options and address any questions or concerns the patient may have.
* Document the outcome of the call and follow up as needed.
* Handles patients' questions and concerns regarding billing, outstanding balances.
