A large Revenue Cycle Management company is seeking experienced Patient Account Representatives to join their team.

This is a Remote, long-term opportunity with equipment provided.

Overview:

• Receives inbound calls from patients and provides excellent Customer Service
• Assists patients with questions regarding insurance coverage including:
• Verifying patient insurance coverage and benefits
• Coordination of benefits
• Review and explain denials
• And fielding questions related to billing, charges, and payment options

Minimum Qualifications:

• Strong Insurance knowledge; Previous experience working within Insurance portals
• Strong customer service skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Computer proficient
• High School Diploma or FED
• Remote work experience (preferred)
• Quiet / Dedicated work from home space ***Please note: TMobile internet or Internet provided by phones/hotspots will not work with computer systems for this role***

Schedule: Monday-Friday either 7:30am-4pm OR 10:30am-7:30pm CST

Pay: $16-21 per hour depending on experience

Contract Duration: 1040 hours (approx. 6 months) Contract to Hire*

*Possibility of permanent employment with Client company upon successful completion of contract period

Sick Pay: You will receive one day of Sick Time after working 600 hours and an additional day of Sick Time for every 300 hours after. **Please note that if you're in a city/state with unique PTO requirements, the city/state's policy will override Medix's internal PTO policy.
