Patient Access Representative

-Check patients in and out

-Strong Customer Service experience

-Rooming patients

-Working closely with Doctors and Nurses

-Answering incoming calls

-Answering all patient questions

• This position has a strong focus on outstanding customer service skills, as well as verbal and written communication
• Must have strong organizational skills, and ability to work in fast paced, ER setting
• Ability to work with minimal supervision, always having an upbeat attitude
• Greeting patients with a courteous and professional demeanor to obtain feedback on their hospital experience
• In this role, are expected to float to all areas within Patient Access
• Must be flexible!

Hours/ Schedule- 11pm- 7:30am, alternating weekends.

• Day off during the week before weekend and after weekend when working weekend
• On weekends not scheduled, set days
• Schedule 4 weeks in advance

3-5 Must Have Skills/Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Covid Vaccination x2
• Medical Insurance Experience
• Registration Experience
• Patient Admissions Experience

Nice to Have Skills

• Emergency Room Experience
• EPIC EMR
