Responsibilities:

• Patient Registration: Greet patients, collect and accurately input demographic and insurance details into EHR systems.
• Insurance Verification: Confirm coverage, eligibility, co-pays, and authorizations while addressing patient inquiries.
• Appointment Scheduling: Coordinate medical consultations, diagnostic tests, and follow-ups based on physician orders.
• Patient Assistance: Guide patients through registration, paperwork, financial aid programs, and available resources.
• Compliance: Ensure patient confidentiality (HIPAA) and adherence to institutional and insurance policies.
• Communication: Collaborate with patients, families, and staff to resolve issues and relay information clearly.
• Financial Support: Assist with payment options, financial aid, and insurance-related questions
• Quality Assurance: Verify registration accuracy and participate in process improvements.
• Emergency Response: Maintain efficiency during high-stress situations, including emergency admissions.

Requirements:

• 1+ year of medical office experience in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable in high-volume environments
• Patient registration experience
• EPIC Experience (Preferred)

Shift:

• Monday - Friday, 8 hour shifts between 8am-6pm
