A hospital in Bakersfield, CA is seeking experienced Patient Access Representatives to support their Emergency Department.

This is an Onsite opportunity and a chance to grow with a large Healthcare organization.

Overview:

• Performs Patient Registration & Insurance Verification
• Obtains Authorizations
• Obtains signatures on necessary consent forms
• Collects co-pays and deductibles
• Adheres to HIPAA regulations at all times
• Provides excellent Customer Service to patients at all times

Requirements:

• 1+ year Patient Access / Registration / Medical Front Desk experience
• Hospital / Emergency Department experience (preferred)
• Insurance Verification experience

Schedule: 10 hour day and night shifts available, days vary (schedule is released 2 weeks in advance)

Pay: $17-23 per hour depending on experience

Contract Duration: 520 Hours (approximately 13 weeks) Contract (possibility of extension or permanent employment)
